Since its inception, the Ruger Mark series has sold millions of Mark series to include Mark II, Mark III, and now the latest iteration the Mark IV. Ruger has improved their classic Mark series with the introduction of the Mark IV. What’s unique about the new Mark IV series of pistols is the inclusion of a simple, one-button takedown for quick and easy field-stripping and proper chamber to muzzle cleaning. The button is recessed in the back of the frame allows the upper receiver to tilt up and off of the grip frame without the use of tools. This little addition makes the disassembly process much easier than previous models.
